You just have to love how even when a face is reduced to a soft pulpy mass, the eye virtually always survives whole. If the impact is so violent that it destroyed the eye socket, the eye detaches from the skull, but it’s still whole.
These photos depict the aftermath of a brutal accident that took place near Toll Plaza in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A motorcyclist and a bus were involved in the accident, which left the motorcyclist with half his face mushed. Skull under the impacted part of the face crumbled, including the forehead, which is one of the sturdiest bones in the body. It looks to me like there is brain matter exposed under the crushed forehead.
Incredibly, the unlucky man reportedly survived having half his face pushed in and the eyeball ripped out.
