Good old Chiapas in Mexico. Driver of a passenger van crashed and died reportedly while talking on his cell phone. Luckily, he was not transporting any people at the time of the crash so he was the only casualty.
The accident happened on a road between Huixtla and Tapachula in Chiapas. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was also speeding and because he was too busy talking on his cell phone, he lost control of the van, rolled over a few times, got thrown out and landed head first on the pavement, fracturing his skull. Nissan Urvan he was driving was used as a minibus with route number 23 (Escuintla to Tapachula) and was owned and operated by Omnibus de Tapachula.
The driver was identified as 33 year old Héctor Molinari de los Santos of Huixtla.
