Syrian Civilian of Shiite Faith Executed by FSA Rebels

FSA rebels captured a Syrian civilian of Shiite faith and executed him with a close range headshot seemingly as a revenge for death of one of their own. The guy filming the video said in the beginning that: “This is revenge for Mouayad Ghafir, the video is a souvenir for his kids.”

As the second bullet is fired, the shooter adds: “…and this is for Mohammad“, and then with the third shot: “…and this is for Sham“. We presume that Sham and Mohammad are Mouayad’s kids.

It is possible that the rebels killed the Shiite man of having had something to do with death of said Mouayad Ghafir. But whether he truly did is anyone’s guess. Sunni rebels have been killing everyone who does not subscribe to Sunna Islam indiscriminately in Syria. It’s easy to accuse a captive of having committed a crime when you are the one with a gun and he has none.
