Hypocrisy of Arming Syrian Moderates Summed Up in One Image

I wanted to share this image because it perfectly sums up the hypocrisy of arming the so called “moderate rebels” in Syria. It depicts the YPG (The Kurdish People’s Protection Units) with a M79 Osa anti tank weapon they got from the Islamic State, which the Islamic State got from the Free Syrian Army, which the FSA got from Saudi Arabia (via Jordan), who purchased them for the FSA from Croatia.

After years of training, arming and funding the jihadists in Syria, some of whom broke up and created Jabhat al-Nusra (affiliate of Al Qaeda in Syria, conveniently called The Khorasan Group by the mainstream press), while others went on their own to create the Islamic State (formerly known as ISIS or ISIL), Kenyan announced additional half a Billion dollars to train and equip more Syrian rebels.

It’s shocking that there still are sheeple who to this day accept that “Syrian moderates” rhetoric. The jihadists – whether they call themselves the Free Syrian Army, The Khorasan or the Islamic State – are basically just mercenaries. They change allegiances like underwear, according to who offers them the most. Because Kenyan has billions of dollars at his disposal courtesy of American taxpayers, they continue to oppose president Bashar al Assad because Kenyan can offer them more than Syrians are able to.

The Islamic State, current chief boogieman, is composed vastly of former “Syrian moderates”. New Syrian moderates continue to join ISIS on an ongoing basis, bringing weapons provided to them by the likes of Kenyan with them. Thus all this ongoing “training and equipping” of Syrian moderates is nothing less than indirect training and equipping of the Islamic State, but camouflaged as something else for the unaware public.

It is the pinnacle of hypocrisy when our leaders say that they are bombing Syria and Iraq because they need to eliminate the threat of ISIS, when at the same time they approve more training, arming and funding for the jihadists who have formed and continue to cooperate with the IS one way or another.

The only group who has consistently fought the Islamic State and has never joined or cooperated with them in any capacity, the one group that has done more for the elimination of the Islamic State that any other, is the Syrian Arab Army (although Hezbollah has been consistently supportive of the same too). If Kenyan et al were actually serious about defeating the Islamic State, the latest half a Billion in training and equipment should go to them.

The New York Times article about the Saudis purchasing weapons for the FSA from Croatia, which was published in February 2013 cleverly disguises the ongoing provision of weapons and training to the jihadists by the West with such paragraphs as:

Washington’s role in the shipments, if any, is not clear. Officials in Europe and the United States, including those at the Central Intelligence Agency, cited the sensitivity of the shipments and declined to comment publicly.

In other words, even though only Saudi supplies for the jihadists are acknowledged, make no mistake about it that the West has been an even more avid supplier, but the job of their mouthpiece media is to make it sound as if it wasn’t so.

And so, as blood of innocent Syrians flows, the indoctrination of the Western public continues…
